Here is our progress to date, 02/29/2008

We have had Oak floors installed throughout. The kitchen counter and bar will be Black Absolute Granite and the backsplash is Classic Travertine.

We are creating the beveled glass arched window as we speak.

We've replaced all the appliances with new GE Stainless Steel appliances.

I had 12 recessed lights installed into the ceiling throughout the great room and kitchen as well as 3 pendant lights over the bar. These details updated the interior of the house considerably.

Please excuse the clutter as we are still a work in progress.

The door to the garage is open in the photo below which makes it hard to see that there is also a hallway there that leads to the master bed and bath as well as the garage and laundry area.

As you will see in the photo below, I also designed a home office/buffet area out of the same cabinets as the kitchen. This too, will have black granite top with travertine backsplash.
